Our approach
 

Clients and their consultants want project risk reduced as much as possible. MARCH is able to achieve project risk reduction through, among other things, experience, track record and innovation. Often this can lead to cost and schedule savings for our clients.

 

MARCH has a long track record of innovation and for undertaking complex projects. While many projects are executed using standard methods what sets the company apart from its peers is a willingness to tackle complex projects with high risk factors and its constant pursuit of new and innovative construction methods.

The MARCH philosophy of project execution involves forming a team with common goals and attitudes. Forming excellent working relationships with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers helps produce a successful project.

Health & safety is the number one priority for the company. MARCH is a family business and all staff is part of that family. MARCH operates an active safety system compliant with AS/NZS 4801. Site specific safety plans are developed for all projects and regular tool box meetings are held to review and amend the site plans. Site inductions are performed for all staff, sub-contractors and suppliers under MARCH supervision. MARCH has an excellent safety record

MARCH operates a contract quality system to TQS 1 standard. The quality system involves preparing a project management and quality plan which identifies the important quality aspects of the project which must be achieved to provide the client with the desired outcome. Work instructions and inspection checklists are brought together in the quality plan which forms the operating system for the project. Non-conformance reports are generated through systematic reviews and audits to complete a cycle of continuous improvement.

Contracting by its nature impacts on the environment, MARCH is committed to protecting the environment while carrying out project works through an active environmental management system. Project environmental management plans are prepared for each project and regular review and amendment of the plans ensures the environmental impact of works is always controlled and as low as possible
